Do This Justice

music and lyrics by Mark Brut

He lives and breathes experiences
And not many people do
They radiate from his existence
If you’ve got an hour or two

He brings us all a jagged edge
Of wit and general weirdness
But that is often refreshing
In this day and age

CHORUS:

If anything, he’ll do this justice
Or not do it at all
Give you something that you can believe in
And make us all feel good

I remember when he was a little boy
Playing with baseball cards on the front porch
Put up on a pedestal of sorts
But he just wanted to be normal

He’s been faced with a lot of tragedy
And people who disappoint
But when you put too much faith in that
You’re missing the point

CHORUS

From Annapolis to Anacortes
And many places in between
Never will be told what to do
Without walking away

CHORUS
